Inspired by the thought of Friedrich Nietzsche, this phrase evokes a confrontation between the human being and the unknown. To gaze into the abyss is not merely to observe something external, but also to confront oneself.

The deeper we descend into the darkness, the more it transforms us.

The abyss does not remain passive it reflects back our own depth, our fears, our desires, and everything within us that often goes unseen.

In this work, the gaze becomes reciprocal: what we contemplate eventually turns to observe us in return.

And within this silence, something endures: an invisible, motionless presence that watches us just as much as we watch it.
